What is my luck with the drives

Now the new SATA 250GB drive I got has bad sectors, first data partition is gone, now the boot partition won't even boot. Luckily, I got a backup from 10 May, but still it would be pain to install all that software from last two weeks. I tried to image the drive but it failed. I'll see if a sector scan will help it a bit.
