Kubuntu Root Password

I am trying Kubuntu, after Mepis deciding to use Ubuntu packages for updates. So far it is stable and working nicely.

One interesting item, it comes with no root password. For almost any management aspect requiring root access, you use sudo. This is good for newbies maybe, but for me, it was a bit inconvinience.

The solution is easy though. Simply drop to Konsole, type in:

sudo passwd root

enter your current user's password and then a new password for root and voila :)
